Participants of the 2011 Oboes on the Ohio festival enjoy some time “On the Ohio.”

OBOES ON THE OHIO, A Double Reed Festival at the historic Ariel-Ann Carson Dater Performing Arts Centre in downtown Gallipolis, Ohio. This unique event is designed to showcase the musical flavor of double reeds.

This exciting day starts at 11:00 a.m. and includes a masterclass, workshops and music readings, and will culminate in a Concert by The Ohio Valley Symphony  performing “Sheherazade”, at 7:30 p.m. on the main stage.
